Goal: We plan on hosting an Algo-trading workshop and competition at UIC where we first have a series of workshops on algo trading by QTC members from both the quant and dev side. Following this, we will host a one-hour trading competition on an in-sample data set. Then we will test the algo on an out-of-sample data test to determine results and finish our event.

Office Hours/ Networking/ Break/ Team Formation: 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Competition: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Results and Conclusion: 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. (Host Lightening Talks during award session)
